A portion of the door panel had been destroyed, and had to be repaired. The panel was pulled by another company, and before the panel was reinstalled, it had been destroyed again. The panel had to be repaired twice, before it made it's way back home. The glass is as dark as it looks, it is solid black, with clear bevels.
