These windows were previously unprotected, and sustained severe damage during Hurricane Rita in 2005. Two elements were addressed, future protection of the stained glass windows, and a reduction in solar heat gain transferring into the building. Two types of Solar Cool reflective safety glass was used to enhance the new frame design.
